
This weekend, Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor passed away at the age of 99. The B-movie actress died of a heart attack. Gabor was known for her glamorous lifestyle, tremendous wit and numerous marriages – nine in total.
Gabor was born in Hungary and crowned Miss Hungary in 1936. She then emigrated to the U.S. and starred in films such as We’re Not Married and Moulin Rouge in the 1950s. Gabor married famous men including hotel magnate Conrad Hilton and actor George Sanders. When asked how many husbands she had, Gabor was quoted in the 1975 anthology I Wish I’d Said That by Kenneth Edwards as saying, “You mean apart from my own?”
