Yesterday, Super Mario Run came out for the iPhone and iPad. Nintendo’s first iOS game has made a splash – it was downloaded 2.85 million times in its first day.
By comparison, Pokemon Go was only downloaded 900,000 times on its first day.
Super Mario Run is completely free to download, but you hit a paywall after a few levels. The game costs $10, which is much higher than the average iOS app.
